We’re Plane Thankful Award

The Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority recently asked the community for nominations of health care professionals that have risen to the challenge of treating pandemic patients. Of all the nominations, Shannon Wojtowicz RN, Ohioans COVID Task Force Nurse, was one of the 5 healthcare heroes selected for the “We’re Plane Thankful” award!

Here’s what Shannon had to say about being chosen. “Thank you for letting me serve our community in such an important way. I feel so humbled and proud!”
